Our client is the largest consultancy company with an European origin. Our client serve their clients globally with clearly stated and aligned Top Line Initiatives e.g. Testing, to cope with varying market needs and to be perceived as one of the thought leaders in the respective areas.  

The Position
The Account Manager Daimler will be responsible for shaping and developing relevant strategies, offerings and services through defining and targeting key stakeholders in the Software environment of the target industry. Furthermore, by leveraging his own networks and experiences, the Account Manager will drive client relation building and project acquisition for new buying centers with the objective of expanding existing client relationships and building new relationships. In addition, the Account Manager will lead proposal development and presentations to clients, negotiate terms and close project business. The successful candidate is expected to identify projects, create demand and provide guidance to our client organization and service lines to ensure tangible results and high quality standards.

The Job Requirement
In terms of the performance and personal competencies required for the position, we
would highlight the following:

Knowledge, experience/ technical expertise

  • Strong sales skills and credentials stemming from a minimum of 3 years progressively responsible experience working in the Automotive industry
  • Experience in software or consulting project and sales
  • Ability to manage sales, large deals and delivery teams in an international environment
  • Proven ability to play a lead role in developing and growing an existing account. Hence, a track record in business development and maintaining and further exploiting existing client relationships
  • Existing relationships within the Automotive industry enabling you to generate business quickly
  • Ability to clearly set out and execute targets, with drive, a relentless entrepreneurial spirit, “out of the box” thinking and passion for quality and efficiency
  • Leadership skills, especially in sales pursuits, verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, team working skills and ethical standards.
  • An academic degree, M.B.A. or other advanced degree is preferred
  • Relevant international working experience
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
